Why do I have to verify my bank account to invest?

Financial regulations require that all the money you use to invest must come from a bank account in your name. Similarly, when you sell any shares, that money can also only go to a bank account in your name. When you verify your bank account, we're checking that you're using a bank account in the same name as your BROKR account.

This means that we ask that you only make your deposits from one bank account that's held in your name. If you make a deposit from a different bank account, your payment will be refunded to the original account within a few working days.
