You switched in the app to a new contract (via Overstappen.nl), nice work.
But where's your cashback? Here we explain how it works and what to expect.
How does the process work?
After your switch is requested, it takes a few steps:
- Overstappen.nl and your new provider confirm your switch. This can take a few days.
- The insurer or provider approves your application. This is the longest part of the process and takes sometimes over 4 months
- Woolsocks sends the cashback amount to your Cashback Sock. As soon as we receive confirmation, it's added as quickly as possible.
How long does it take?
- On average 4 months from the date the request was made.
These are guidelines, actual timing depends on the insurer or provider.
What does "pending" mean?
The status "pending" means your cashback has been requested and is being processed. No action is needed from you. Once approval comes in, it will be credited automatically.
Been waiting longer than expected?
First check if your switch is still "pending" in the app. If yes, then you need to be patient.
