I want to place an order, but I can't find the buy and sell buttons on the detail view of the stock. What should I do?

If you don't see the buy and sell buttons on a stock's detail view, first check these things

  1. You've onboarded to a real Investing Account with our partner, BROKR. You can only buy and sell real stocks once you've created your Investing Account.
  2. You've verified your bank account by making your first deposit. After you've been verified, the buy and sell buttons will be available to you.
  3. You don't have any existing pending buy or sell orders in that company. If you do, the buy and sell buttons on the detail page will remain blocked until your order is executed, or you cancel the order yourself if you'd like to place a new one.
