Buying a gift card in the Shopbuddies app is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Home tab in the Shopbuddies app. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap "Buy gift cards, earn cashback"
- Use the search bar to look for your desired shop, or browse through our selection. Please note that available merchants vary by country, so make sure that the correct country is selected.
- After selecting a gift card, you'll see a page containing details about the merchant, the online or in-store validity of the gift card, and details regarding how to redeem it. You can also find the brand's terms and conditions here, and we advise to read them before purchasing the gift card.
- Tap "Buy". Then, input the desired gift card value, and press "continue"
- The following screen will show you the details of your purchase and how much cashback you'll receive. After tapping "Pay now", you'll be redirected to our payment service provider in your browser, where you can complete your payment.
- Once we've confirmed your payment, you'll receive two emails. The first is a confirmation of your purchase, and the second will contain a voucher code and/or barcode, depending on where your gift card can be redeemed.
After your purchase has been confirmed, the cashback you've earned will also be automatically sent to your Cashback Sock.
